There are times when I have to pinch myself when I think about the fact that I am getting dressed up and posing for pictures and then putting them out in the world for everyone to see and judge. I have never been one to get in front of the camera and show out. My insecurities would not let me. Something about this time in my life and these four decades tucked under my belt has really released me from a ton of bull crap that I held on to for years. That being said – sometimes, every now and again, when I get out in front of the camera and let my baby girl take charge – we make a little magic happen. This was one of those times. I LOVE these pictures. Love them. Mainly because I love this outfit and also because my baby giant did some mean art direction here. This blazer is from Buffalo Exchange and as is often the case when thrifting or shopping vintage, it was not my size, but I couldn’t leave it. It fit me but I knew that I couldn’t wear anything significant underneath – so I decided to wear it as a top instead of a jacket! I paired it with these great plaid pants that I got from JCP last year and my shiny silver brogues and ‘walla’ instant cute! What do you think?
