Nouveau Sexy

There is no way to miss Valentine’s day anymore. Nowadays the novelty aisle of your favorite drug store gets drenched in red no sooner than St. Nick packs up the sleigh for his yearly trip ’round the world. I’ve always been fond of red, in fact it was my favorite color for many years when I was a kid. It was also the ‘forbidden’ color in my household. I couldn’t have red underwear or wear certain red dresses at all growing up. And I couldn’t wear red shoes. I believe that trauma of being deprived of shiny, red, patent leather shoes as a child and adolescent has caused me to forever be in search for the perfect pair.

However, this V-day, I want to challenge you all to stray from the cliche and ditch the ‘old faithfuls’. The fact of the matter is if you stick your gams in a 4 inch stiletto with the right dress to accompany them – it will ooze sexy. There are so many killer heels to choose from too. I am a big fan of all things animal print. Whether is leopard, snakeskin or zebra print (no cows, bc: weird) I’m game to wear something made out of it. And lets face it, there are few things sexier than a great pair of leopard print, sky high heels. I selected a few alternatives to the basic red heel to give a try for your romantic date night. It might give your partner an extra thrill and we all know what thrills lead to….don’t we 😉
