This year will certainly go down in the record books for me. It has been one of the most tumultuous years of my adult life full of challenges and triumphs, but the one constant is my style. While I am a fan of mixing up, adding to and enhancing my personal style, I do my best not to let any downturns in my life be reflected in my sartorial choices. It kind of falls under the ‘never let ’em see you sweat’ category. I started this blog late in the year, but I have been chronicling my personal style via instagram and snapshots all year long. Below are some of my favorite outfits of 2014 – most have not been featured on the blog. A few things you will notice about the clothes I don’t blog (1) I love Onion by Whitney Mero; (2) I shop at the same stores (bc I know what serves my personal style) but it might be time for H&M and Zara to cut me a check though; (3) I shop my closet a LOT. Most of these things were not purchased this year. I learned a big lesson about pushing my creative boundaries and need vs. want this year. I definitely plan on carrying it over into the new year.
